Born in Durumin Iya, Kano city, Dr. Hauwa’s academic journey began at Shahuci & Gidan Galadima Girls Day School, followed by Government Girls Secondary School Jogana.
She then pursued higher education at Bayero University Kano and earned her university certificate from the University of Jos.
Dr. Hauwa’s medical career took off with her Housemanship and National Youth Service Corps at Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital. She further honed her skills with Residency training at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano.
Dr. Hauwa’s dedication to her craft is inspiring. She has spent years perfecting her skills, and her hard work has paid off. As a Professor of Gynecology, she has helped countless women and families, making a real difference in her community.
Dr. Hauwa’s journey to success was not without challenges. She faced numerous obstacles, including gender bias and limited resources. Yet, she persevered, driven by her passion for medicine and her determination to succeed.
Hauwa’s accomplishments are numerous and impressive, and as a testament to her endurance and pity. She is a role model for young women everywhere, proof that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.
